Norman Regional Health System Registered Nurse (RN) - Women and Children's - PRN II - Nights - HealthPlex Campus in Norman, Oklahoma

Our Women and Children's unit cares for pediatric patients up to 18 years of age, women's gynecological concerns, antepartum and postpartum patients, and Med/Surg patients. We have 21 beds on our unit. We are looking for highly motivated individuals ready for a fast-paced environment who desire to deliver the best patient experience to our customers, function well in a dynamic, supportive team, and represent our health system well.

RN essential functions include, but are not limited to: collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.

RN PRN II requires a minimum of 1 shift per week or 2 shifts per pay period.


Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).


Previous experience in a healthcare field preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).


Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license.

Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to remain current throughout duration of employment.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained.


STABLE certification maintained every 2 years as offered.
