Skills Development and Employment ensures that people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs by matching them with employers seeking qualified job candidates. In addition, they offer support with assessments, rehabilitation and child and youth programs.
Duties/Fonctions :
Perform a wide variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to:
Responding to internal and external requests for information
Reviewing and sorting incoming mail
Assisting in the preparation and distribution of departmental reports
Scheduling meetings
Conducting research and assembling/summarizing information for special projects and reports
Answer telephone calls and direct calls and messages as needed
Provide front desk/reception coverage; meet and greet visitors to the office
Assist with local marketing initiatives
Maintain signage, information boards, and policy binders
Coordinate courier and mail activities
Create and/or draft memoranda, correspondence, reports, agreements, presentations, forms, and other documents using Microsoft Office and Adobe software
Proofread and check for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures
Ensure reports and documents for signature are accurate and complete
Organize meetings and serve as the recording secretary
Manage files in a case management system and process invoices
Assist and provide backup to other administrative staff as directed
Qualifications/Compétences requises :
A degree or diploma in a related field is an asset
Minimum 1 year of related administrative support experience in a high-volume, large company environment
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality while managing highly sensitive material with professionalism
Self-motivated, a team player, skilled at multi-tasking and independently managing and prioritizing multiple projects with limited guidance
Ability to operate effectively under pressure and within time constraints
Skilled in executive-level verbal and written correspondence
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn a case management system
Sensitivity to issues/barriers experienced by persons with disabilities
Salary Range:
$35,000.00
