The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Columbia Center for Human Development is seeking a highly motivated Technician B to contribute to a project centered on the lung stem cell compartment, investigating its behavior in both disease and regeneration-repair processes. Collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and fellow lab members, the research staff will delve into ongoing projects aimed at identifying transitional states in developing and injured lung cells. Responsibilities Assist the team in the analysis of data generated from mouse models, organoids, and epidemiological databases. Perform routine DNA/RNA procedures and basic laboratory techniques. Conduct immunofluorescence staining of cells and lung tissue sections, as well as imaging of biological samples. Work with the laboratory team to ensure all laboratory protocols are followed to support a safe working environment. Assist in generating sequencing libraries. Maintain lab organization, record-keeping, and perform other assigned duties. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
