The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary This position will support Orthopedic Principal Investigators with research projects, grant projects and academic publications. Responsibilities This position involves significant patient interaction while working on clinical patient studies and obtaining questionnaires from pre and post operative patients (in hospital and by phone). The candidate will prepare follow-up schedules, enters patient data and assists with statistical analysis, tabulation, and digital graphing of clinical results. Minimum Qualifications Two years of college or a completed AA program with an emphasis in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related science plus one year of related experience or the equivalent in education, training and experience strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with PC and MAC computers, windows environment, graphic and video software and knowledge of digital video and video editing via computer essential Prior research experience (basic science or clinical research) a plus Other Requirements The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
