Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, socially engaged university administrator to serve as Office Manager for Student Health Services ( SHS ). This position assists in the daily operations of SHS , and supervises the clerical support staff.. This position supports the high level operational and technology needs and data of SHS . The Office Manager reports directly to the Associate Director of Student Health Services. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of SHS . This includes email accounts, phone and Assist Associate Director with day-to-day operations of the student health insurance program including overseeing multiple email accounts, phone system, and student traffic Supervise Senior Office Assistants and other clerical positions Supervise student office workers Assist Insurance operations – online appeals, health leaves, review weekly enrollment files, and students and their families in resolving problems relating to claims filed Create and maintain insurance materials, and assist students in obtaining needed insurance plan information Manage ACD Telecommunications software and process statistical usage reports Develop and conduct workshops and informational sessions for insurance and immunizations as needed Assist with immunization program including email correspondence, data entry, and verifications Oversee file storage process Oversee office supplies for daily operations Provide back-up phone and scheduling support as needed Participate in orientation activities and other university programs as necessary Submit work orders for office repairs Perform other general office related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Requirements: Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask while maintaining deadlines and accuracy High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Must demonstrate a strong interest in working with college students Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse population Exceptional customer service skills Ability to adhere to university COVID -19 policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Medical office experience Health insurance experience and knowledge of U.S. healthcare
