Position Summary The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University seeks to hire a student to help with the administrative tasks in the department. The student will be under the supervision of Ann Marshak, Department Administrator. Responsibilities Stocks supplies in the pantry (e.g., coffee, utensils) and tidying of the space, places orders for restocking. Stocks copy paper in shared printers, replaces toner cartridges, and submits orders for restocking. Picks up and distributes mail. Prepares office and cubicle space for incoming students/faculty/staff (e.g., prepares nameplate, keys). Assist with events arrangement when necessary. Performs other administrative tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma and enrollment in a Columbia University undergraduate degree program. Other Requirements Must be able to be on site 3 days per week for 1-2 hours/day.
