Job Description Staff Physical Therapist - Inpatient Acute Care An exciting opportunity awaits you at MSK. We are seeking a licensed Staff Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team of rehabilitation professionals. At MSK, we offer world class training within our rehabilitation service focusing on opportunities to develop innovative, therapeutic programs for a diverse patient population. We are looking for an individual passionate about patient-centered treatment, teamwork, and best practice which results in an exceptional patient experience. Role Overview: Conduct comprehensive assessments and reassessments of rehabilitative needs. Based on assessment findings, develop individualized patient goals and treatment plans. Provide highly skilled physical therapy to adult and pediatric patients in an oncology setting utilizing evidenced-based therapeutic interventions to maximize patient outcomes. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, including the patient and their family, to ensure the highest level of clinical services are provided and experienced throughout the entire episode of care. Participate in mentorship, both as mentor and mentee, through various teaching and learning opportunities. Engage in projects and activities that support and advance institutional and departmental mission and goals. Key Qualifications: New York PT license Acute care and/or oncology experience preferred Core Skills: Flexible with strong time management/organizational skills Effective in verbal and written communication including computer skills Detail and team oriented Invested in mentorship both in learning and sharing of clinical knowledge Additional Information: Location: Main Hospital, 1275 York Ave, in Manhattan, NY. Schedule: Hours vary between 6am-7:30pm, including weekends (subject to change) Reporting to the Supervisor, Physical Therapy Please include a cover letter and resume for consideration.
