This role is within the highly visible Product Portfolio Planning team that provides business critical insights using fact-based analytics, ensures best-in-class cross functional planning and innovation processes, and helps the B2B product teams drive strategic initiatives forward within the fast growth T-Mobile for Business (TFB) business unit. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level strategic priorities with effective day-to-day planning and innovation to help early stage ideas evolve into future-growth initiatives.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining differentiated B2B solutions and services to meet customer demands for enabling the Future of Work as well as for building 5G-based Advanced Services such as, IoT and Edge Computing. In this role, you’ll be acting as an internal consultant to influence and shape TFB’s global business strategy, markets, competitive positioning, customer preferences and key cross-functional strategic initiatives. Projects will include planning, development, analysis and quantification of company long-range and strategic plans, specific growth initiatives, market and competitive analysis, and evaluation of company strengths and weaknesses. Drive annual long-term strategic product portfolio planning efforts for the TFB business unit by enabling fact-based decision making to drive growth and differentiated customer experiences.
Act as internal consultant to shepherd an idea to execution by helping build compelling product plans while working with a team of cross-functional experts to maximize market share, profitability, revenue retention and growth, and other strategic objectives.
Define a compelling product portfolio roadmap for the product line, ensuring a continual stream of new and innovative ideas are consistently brought to market.
Collaborate with marketing and product managers to develop and communicate an exciting portfolio value proposition to increases awareness and consideration within potential customers segments.
Instill best practices and recommend tools to accelerate planning and innovation across the B2B product teams.

7+ years in one or more of the following categories: strategic consulting firm or related experience in strategic planning, product management, strategic marketing, product development, or strategy/operations consulting in a large firm. with focus on telecommunications, platform development, and software.
Strong understanding of services and products offering in the areas of voice and data, unified communications and collaboration, 5G, IoT, edge computing, or security.
Ability to influence, lead and coach cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas while thinking critically and strategically.
Ability to assess and implement successful, focused, integrated product plans.
Knowledge of new product planning and development processes, go to market strategies, and product innovation and life cycle management.
Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals. Ability to present compelling business plans to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills with knowledge of financial drivers and experience in synthesizing large amounts of diverse information. Ability to create forecasts, financial models and budgets.
Broad understanding of program management concepts and tools, including technical, innovation process, product management, financial and operations functions.
Minimum Bachelors Degree
MBA from a top-tier program preferred
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in Colorado is generally within the range of $75,000 to $150,000 for annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. Employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of an employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
