What you will be doing
This is a critical role within Banking Solutions Professional Services division for to lead the service delivery of a transformative product and platform, that is changing the Banking Solutions landscape, with FIS leading the way in the industry.
This individual will lead our MBP client engagement delivery and implementations, customer engagement and engagement success. The role requires will be responsible for leading and managing MBP client implementations, for a diverse set of large financial institution clients, and accountable for all aspects of program management including scoping, solutioning, business transformation, implementations, and roll out. The role will collaborate across different functions including Sales, Product Management, Development, Infrastructure & Operations, client relations etc., to make sure all activities are aligned and executing to deliver on the program on schedule, on cost, high quality and to client expectations. The role will interface with FIS and Client executives, leading steering committee meetings, client debriefs and managing expectations, escalations and progress across entire program spectrum.
Lead high-profile engagements, assigns tasks and holds people accountable. Gains trust and respect of each client by establishing and maintaining effective relationships. Understands and anticipates changing client needs. Expands revenue from existing clients.
Develop new business opportunities by collaborating with sales resources, strategizing on "attack plans", participating in prospect meetings and broader industry events, preparing proposals, contributing thought leadership and building references.
Establish, maintain and fully utilize a team of qualified professionals by recruiting ahead of needs, motivating staff to reach full potential and actively tracking staff utilization.
Participate in setting business development strategy for defined geography or special practice area.
Demonstrate technical competence in assigned consulting practice.
What you bring:
Has deep banking and technology/fintech expertise - approximately 15 years
Leadership, management, organizational, and team building skills.
Ability to build relationships with C-level management, peers and others.
Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management.
Project management, productivity, planning, and workload management skills.
Negotiation skills regarding complex issues
Willingness to travel at least 50%
