Job Description Exciting opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Senior Director, Clinical Research Operations ! We're looking for a dynamic professional to lead our Medicine and Neurology teams. Role Overview: Strategic Planning and Improvement Lead the design and implementation of new initiatives focused on the advancement of MSK's clinical research operations and plans for continued center-wide growth. Analyze data and metrics on current workforce function to identify strategic opportunities for improvement and increased partner collaboration. Partner with department chairs, vice chairs for clinical research, service chiefs etc. on forecasting the growth the clinical trial portfolio. Operations Management Oversee clinical research operations throughout the organization. Set long-term goals for the clinical research program in accordance with MSK's mission and strategic priorities. People and Relationship Management Lead, mentor, and develop the teams to address the needs of clinical research community. Manage critical collaborative relationships with key partners across multiple clinical departments, services, and external partners. Fiscal Management Oversee fiscal management of clinical trials budgets, clinical trials revenue, patient billing (RNBs), and patient reimbursement in accordance with institutional financial goals and expectations. Perform financial analysis to determine departmental, institutional, operational, and financial impact. Key Qualifications: 7+ years of clinical research experience. 4+ years of management experience. Core Skills: An engaging leader with a strong team- building focus. Broad-based and detailed knowledge of Human Subjects Protection, Good Clinical Practice, FDA requirements, clinical research-related federal regulations, HIPAA. A strong ability and understanding on how to collect, analyze, interpret, and prepare data for presentation and solve problems. Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner. Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission, and values. Additional Information : Schedule: Hybrid, with flexibility to report onsite as needed .
