Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: Hours Per Week: 35 Salary Range: Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer in the College of Dental Medicine, the Senior Budget & Finance Analyst provides analytical and decision-making support for the college?s financial planning activities. The analyst will interact with the school administration, section leads, as well as with Senior Management. Responsibilities Collaborate with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Accounting to transact monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare AIMHI/FAIR uploads and reconciliation entries. Publish monthly compilation of reports relating to the financial operations including COB reports and Physician P&L Reports. Collaborate with the CFO in conjunction with the budgetary planning process. Complete budget template enhancements and budget tool uploads. Perform ongoing budget tool updates and adjustments as needed throughout budgetary cycle. Collaborate with the school?s operational managers for continuous improvements in the accuracy of financial transactions. Complete invoicing and reconciliations related to FMV agreements, MSAs, and other financial agreements. Assist Payroll Manager with management and reallocation of salary profiles. Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Director to ensure consistency among related reports. Support the CFO with development of Business Plans and rollout of Strategic Initiatives. Prepare financial reports, revenue reports, account analysis reports and reconciliations as required. Assist in budgeting, tracking, and variance analysis in ARC as required. Provide coverage and support for CDM Finance Team. Duties include, but not limited to: processing of voucher, requisitions, travel and business expenses, and change orders, and pcards in ARC. Participate in other related duties and projects as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree plus three years of related experience or equivalent in education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Excel Skills Preferred. Experience in University Financial Systems (ARC) preferred.
