LSEG Senior Associate – Wealth Specialist in New York, New York

This position reports to the Head of US Wealth, North America Wealth Strategy and Business Development. The Wealth Sales team is responsible for driving our business within US Wealth Management organizations, including ETF Strategists, Wirehouses, Broker/Dealer Firms, Custodians, TAMPs, and large RIAs
Key Functions and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for executing the Wealth strategy for FTSE Russell Wealth Solutions in the Americas. Specifically, this includes supporting the Wealth Specialist team, Product, and Research teams to drive adoption of FTSE Russell indexes among Financial Advisors. This role also includes leveraging research and product to develop new innovative wealth solutions for financial advisors and coordinating with marketing to build the FTSE Russell brand in the wealth management space.
Support Wealth strategy by directly calling on Financial Advisors to grow footprint of FTSE Russell Indexes and investment products based on those indexes
Create a plan to educate financial advisors on FTSE Russell indexes and underlying methodology
Partner with ETP team to drive adoption of FTSE Russell index linked products at strategic wealth partner firms
Develop relationships with key financial advisors at wealth management firms to help support wealth management home office initiatives
Identify client needs related to index and wealth technology and propose solutions leveraging various LSEG verticals
Promote FTSE Russell Direct Indexing Solution to wealth management firms and Financial Advisors
This role requires a desire to deliver a quality customer experience. The individual will need to have the following key attributes:
Index, analytics or asset management experience
Asset or wealth management sales experience
Business Development experience with solid negotiation skills
Drive to achieve business goals by solving complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify solutions
Excels in an environment that is rapidly growing and changing
Ability to lead projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail while ensuring a big picture risk assessment is maintained
Team player that works well in a collaborative matrix environment
First class presentation skills
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
Be recognized as having wealth management expertise
Bachelor’s in finance, MBA, CFA or CAIA a plus
7+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Strong analytics and quantitative skills
Clear understanding of the global markets, investing, and asset allocation
Capable leader and self-starter
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Experienced business developer with proven track record of achieving sales goals
