Job Description Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Revenue Integrity Clinical Liaison Reporting to Revenue Integrity Manager, serves as a subject matter expert in a high-profile group tasked with improving revenue results by taking a global view of clinical and financial processes, functions and interdependencies from the provision of patient care to final bill generation. Communicates and directly interacts with physicians, nurses, patient's accounts, and the billing department to ensure that charge capture workflows are following MSKCC standards. Requires a high level of service focus and clinical workflow emphasis. Responsible for ensuring service lines, within designated areas of responsibility, are capturing all appropriate revenue through the ongoing monitoring of regulatory and compliance rules as set by Medicare and other Payers. Role Overview: Develops relationships with various committees and groups to ensure continuity in processes that increase revenue capture. Act as a liaison to bridge any communication gaps and foster collaboration among departments. Maintains a rapport and frequent visibility with all contacts that will foster a trusting relationship, encourage discovery of revenue capture opportunities. Facilitate effective communication between billing, coding, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of charge capture and charge reconciliation processes. Prepares and distributes summaries as they relate to process improvement in charge capture. Assist clinical areas in understanding EPIC charging related reports and interpretation of WQ/Edits and Revenue Guardian Checks Assist Revenue Integrity Manager with facilitation of RAC Audit requests. Key Qualifications: 4 yrs. of Hospital Revenue exp Advanced experience with Excel and Epic is a plus Computer skills required include the advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and Word. Core Skills: Outstanding relationship-building skills with demonstrated capability of managing stakeholder expectations and fostering and building new relationships at all levels. Ability to review, analyze and interpret payor payment policies, billing guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate evolving business needs.
