Program Assistant II Title: Program Assistant II Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: Administration Work Days: Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $26.92 - $29.62 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary Provides administrative support to department specific programs and initiatives. Job Responsibilities Assists with the planning, organization and implementation of program-related activities and events. Coordinates calendars and schedules appointments and meetings. Prioritizes requests for meetings and coordinates the necessary arrangements for meetings. May represent the program at meetings and/or conduct trainings within the community if needed. If applicable, screens and responds to consultation requests associated with the program. Facilitates outside resources through governmental and community-based agencies as needed. Maintains inventory of supplies and/or equipment. May order supplies/equipment as authorized or ensures that needs are escalated appropriately. Receives supply orders and confirms accuracy of delivery. May assist with cost control. Responsible for procurement activities related to goods, services, and/or equipment as needed. Responsible for disbursement/reimbursement activities as needed. May be responsible for managing program budgets. Responsible for creating and/or maintaining databases. Assists with data analysis. Performs other related tasks such as assisting in organizing and duplicating materials, filing, editing documents/presentations, report writing, outreach activities and meeting minutes. Education High School Diploma Experience Approximately 2 years of related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Well-organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and exercise good judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills.
