Program Administrator, Undergraduate and DrPH Programs (Fixed-Term) US-NY-New York Job ID: 2021-8698 Type: School of Global Public Health (WS2229) # of Openings: 1 Category: Academic Program Support New York University Overview Working collaboratively with the School of Global Public Health (GPH) academic programs leadership, manage the smooth operation of the Undergraduate and Doctor of Public Health Programs (DrPH), including, but not limited to, supporting online degree offerings and certificate programs and ensure School and University standards and guidelines are maintained. Plan, coordinate, and lead student support and enrichment activities for the PHPM department in collaboration with other academic programs within GPH. Plan, develop, and implement new and existing Undergraduate and DrPH Programs programs and programming infrastructure in support of the School’s academic mission. In collaboration with Department Directors, oversee the daily administration of all academic activities, including office procedures, oversight of student databases, and ensuring the effective management of program processes. Manage international programs, courses and events, including travel logistics for faculty, staff and students. Counsel and advise students on degree requirements. Meet with prospective students, attend and oversee recruitment events. Conduct needs assessments and surveys, analyze data, and make recommendations for process or service improvement. This is a 24 Month Term Position. Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor's Degree With concentration or course work in public health, business or public administration, higher education, or related field. Preferred Education: Master's Degree Public health Required Experience: 3+ years Working in a fast-paced environment with faculty and students in a higher education institution Preferred Experience: Experience working in a higher education institution. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrates the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of seniority, both formally and informally. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of diverse cultures and customs. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service both internally and externally. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience in project management, event planning and graphic design software (i.e., Canva, InDesign, etc.).
