Program Administrator, Academic Affairs US-NY-New York Job ID: 2021-8699 Type: School of Global Public Health (WS2229) # of Openings: 1 Category: Academic Program Support New York University Overview In collaboration with the Registrar of the School of Global Public Health and Program Manager, manage the smooth operation of the Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs. Oversee the Schools schedule and courses for all degree/certificate programs in Albert and ensure School and University standards and guidelines are maintained. Manage Undergraduate and Graduate student requests/inquiries. Plan, develop, and implement new and existing academic programs and programming infrastructure in support of the Schools academic mission. Manage, plan, and implement activities related to academic, accreditation, compliance, and all other operational aspects of the Office. Communicate program and degree requirements to students. Oversee the student database and provide detailed reports for GPH Leadership. Conduct needs assessments and surveys, analyze data, and make recommendations for process or service improvement. Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor's Degree With concentration or course work in public health, business or public administration, higher education, or related field. Preferred Education: Master's Degree Public health Required Experience: 3+ years Working in a fast-paced environment with faculty and students in a higher education institution Preferred Experience: Experience working in a higher education institution. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrates the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of seniority, both formally and informally. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of diverse cultures and customs. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service both internally and externally. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience in project management, event planning and graphic design software (i.e., Canva, InDesign, etc.).
