LSEG Partner Manager in New York, New York

The role of the Partner Manager is responsible for maintaining deep partner relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. By collaborating with other internal functions, the Partner Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution. The position will manage a defined book of business together with driving the sale of partner solutions throughout AMERS and supporting redistribution opportunities. You will also seek out and develop new partnership opportunities and work closely with colleagues in Proposition, Sales Specialist and Global Partner teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of how Partners operate, including strategy, priorities and needs

  • Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest. Particular emphasis on Trading and Enterprise solutions

  • Build and embed a long term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts

  • Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv footprint within their accounts

  • Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue

  • Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end to end customer relationship

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals

  • Accountable and responsible for developing and onboarding new Partners, revenue growth and retention

  • Drive sale and retention of partner solutions through broader AMERS salesforce

  • Ensure partner deals and redistribution meet Refinitiv compliance standards

  • Support redistribution deals – deal construction, negotiation and approvals

​Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Strong understanding of partners, their business model and workflows

  • Industry experience within the customer segment

  • Strong product knowledge, particularly in trading and enterprise solutions

  • Relationship building skills

  • Proven selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency

  • Problem solving--ability to understand, be empathetic, articulate, structure and solve client needs

  • Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization

  • Ability to collaborate with other Refinitiv teams

  • College degree required, equivalent experience may be considered depending on position/department

  • Significant work experience in applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required

  • Proven partner or sales/account management. Marketing experience a plus.

  • Self starter to hit the ground running
