Position Summary The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Short-Term Casual (non-student) to join our team in a part-time position to work within the division of Molecular Genetics. The candidate will join our team to provide research assistance for clinical studies for molecular genetics of obesity. We also have several active Clinical trials available to our patients. This position will provide support for our work on the molecular mechanisms underlying human obesity. Responsibilities Assist in Clinical trial project study. Assist and work on intervention and observational studies of humans with obesity and related conditions. Provide support for work on the molecular mechanisms underlying human obesity. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested. Minimum Qualifications High School Graduate or Equivalency required. Preferred Qualifications Four years of college with an emphasis in biology, molecular mechanisms of human obesity. One year of related experience, or the equivalent in education, training and experience. Other Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with great attention to detail. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
