Position Summary The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Non- Student Research Worker to assist (primarily in-office, but occasionally remotely) with several nationwide and locally-conducted research studies exploring palliative care provision and infection prevention and control in long-term settings. The candidate will work with a team of researchers at the Center for Health Policy and the Center for Improving Palliative Care for Vulnerable Adults with Multiple Chronic Conditions (CIPC) at Columbia University School of Nursing. Responsibilities Duties will include: Survey development in REDCap. Conducting literature searches and systematic reviews in Covidence. Participating in recruitment activities including: Verifying contact information for research participants and preparing mailings. Recruiting research participants through phone calls and emails. Providing assistance with conference presentations and posters: Formatting posters according to conference instructions. Inputting data into tables and generating graphs for posters and Powerpoint presentations. Providing assistance with manuscript publishing and grant writing: Formatting according to author and grant guidelines. Building EndNote files for manuscripts and grants. Inputting data into tables and generating graphs. Assisting with data entry and data cleaning. IRB protocol preparation. Attending weekly research-related meetings (via Zoom). Performing other related duties, as assigned. This is a grant-funded position and continued employment is contingent upon the grant. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous research experience and familiarity with RedCAP is desired.
