Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: N/A Regular/Temporary: Regular End Date if Temporary: N/A Hours Per Week: 35 Salary Range: Commensurate with experience Position Summary Under the direction of the Sr. Practice Manager, the Manager of Clinical Coordination Services will oversee the day-to-day backend operations of patient coordination. The Manger will ensure that all patients receive personalized, prompt attention and are treated with receptiveness, dignity and respect. Responsibilities Responsible for all activities associated with the clinical coordination of patients In collaboration with the Sr. Practice Manager oversee a team of clinical coordinators Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures to maximize workflow Train all new clinical coordination hires and ensure they have access and training on all systems including EPIC Cross-train all members of the team so there are no lapses in coverage Conduct monthly clinical coordination meetings to discuss challenges and celebrate successes Remain versed in all health insurance matters and educate the team Monitor compliance with patient registration policies and practices Responsible for developing and overseeing the patient portal strategy and report back monthly to the Director(s) on metrics Attends the quarterly Practice Management meetings Assist in implementing new FPO projects Assist with any administrative planning and initiatives aimed at facilitating growth and improving operations and patient care quality Analyze trends and make recommendations related to patient satisfaction Manage the utilization of EPIC and act as the division?s Super User Elevate all issues and concerns to the Senior Practice Manager and offer solutions Anticipate needs required to support a growing and busy service Ensure that phone coverage is in place and phones are answered by the third ring Schedule all procedures, appointments, testing as needed Assume additional responsibilities as needed for practice expansion/enhancement Other Duties Conform to all HIPAA, Billing compliance and safety guidelines Maintain confidentiality related to human resource matters Ensures service excellence by becoming thoroughly familiar with the ?Six Principles of Behavior? and putting them into practice in carrying out job responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus thee years of related experience required.
