Job Description Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking an experienced Lab Technologist II for our Hematology Laboratory . Role Overview: Perform technical duties in laboratory sections, with minimal supervision, as assigned. Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, and up-to-date records/logs/files. Assure the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures. Perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance. Contribute to the upkeep and safety of the laboratory and assures a clean, safe, adequately supplied work area. Maintain adequate inventories of reagents and supplies. Manage the physical environment of the laboratory following New York State DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA, and CLIA regulations. Provide direction, training, and feedback on routine laboratory procedures, as assigned. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences) required Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required Two years of relevant work experience in Hematology strongly preferred but recent graduates with a clinical license will be considered Core Skills: Ability to perform dilutions and laboratory calculations Excellent organizational skills Strong digital literacy including working with databases Additional Information: Schedule: Night shift position, 12am-8am Rotating weekends and holidays 100% onsite Location: 327 E 64th Street in NYC Reporting to: Manager, Laboratory Medicine - Hematology Pay Range $45.29-$72.42 Helpful Links: Learn more about our Benefits!
