The Neuroscience of Multilingualism lab (Blanco-Elorrieta lab) at New York University has an opening for a Laboratory Associate. A BA/BS or MA/MS in a cognitive science related discipline (psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, etc.) or computer science is required. The hired person would ideally have experience with psycho- and neurolinguistic experiments and a background in statistics and programming (e.g., R, Python, Matlab). We will positively value bilingual or multilingual people. The person hired must bring a can-do attitude, a creative mind, superb organizational and teamwork skills and a passion for research. The Laboratory Associate?s roles will depend on the specific qualifications of the person hired, but will involve MEG/MRI research. It is expected that the position will come with the freedom for the Laboratory Associate to propose and develop their own research projects. Evaluation of applications will begin immediately. In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $43,888-$50,000.
