HR Coordinator (aHEO) Job ID 28170 Location Guttman Community College Full/Part Time Full-Time Regular/Temporary Regular Add to My Favorite Jobs POSITION DETAILS Guttman Community College is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the Office of Human Resources in the areas of Time and Leave, Benefits, and Payroll processing. Reporting to the HR Generalist, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Time and Leave: Review and process part-time staff & Public Safety?s biweekly timesheets in CUNYfirst, serving as the point of contact for part-time employees regarding timesheet issues. Track timesheets to ensure hours worked are within the approved appointed hours. Run and analyze reports, conduct audits, and review CUNYfirst entries to ensure data accuracy. Communicate with part-time employees regarding their appointed and worked hours; respond to employees' inquiries regarding time and leave balances and appointment status. Maintain accurate Annual and Sick Leave balances for part-time staff in Time and Leave System. Benefits: Assist in the processing and data entry of health benefits including enrollments, changes, and terminations in NYCAPS. Assist in the processing and data entry of benefits-related leaves (FMLA, Paid Parental Leave, Childcare Leave, Temporary Disability, etc.), and update spreadsheets related to leaves, as needed. Support the Assistant Director for Employee Services during Benefits Orientations for full and part-time faculty and staff, as needed. Create and maintain employee benefits files. Maintain and update benefits-related forms and tracking sheets. Send benefits forms to new hires, tracking, receiving, and checking the forms for accuracy, and inputting the data into relevant systems. Process Transit Benefit and NY529 College Savings Plan enrollments, changes, and updates. Assist with processing Workers Compensation and Unemployment claims and requests. Payroll: Serve as a backup liaison between the HR Team and the University?s Payroll Office, performing duties including, but not limited to, updating relevant employee W-2 Form information.
