POSITION OVERVIEW In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, reporting to the Registrar Director, the Enrollment Registrar Manager will have the following responsibilities: Oversees daily office operations, supervises the maintenance of accurate and secure student records; enforces retention and release policies regarding the confidentiality of student data Chair, the Retroactive Resignation Committee Retroactive Resignation Request Request for Removal of Registration Related Fees and Penalties Oversee communication to students regarding their request Manage processing of approved applications. Manage End of Term Processing Repeat Checking (CUNY F Repeat), Academic Standing, Dean?s List Manage the processing of Academic Forgiveness Justice Academy Readmission Freshman Forgiveness Policy Supervise the Enrollment Verification (attendance rosters) process and verify submission Oversee and reconcile WN and WA grade applications and reversals. Direct the Grade Lapse process (INC to FIN) Create/Oversee the final Grade Roster Submission Manage the Academic Standing Process Maintain the Registrar website and update information regularly Responsible for all activities associated with the registration process Manage and oversee the readmission process, including application review, preparation, and committee participation Supervise one full-time staff member and two part-time staff members. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Six years of relevant higher education experience. Experience within the CUNY system. Supervisory experience. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience with software and platforms used in CUNY (e.g., CUNYfirst (PeopleSoft), DegreeWorks, e-forms). Experience working in a diverse and fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with the strong ability to establish plans, manage multiple assignments with conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive, student -responsive office. Oversees daily office operations; supervises the maintenance of accurate and secure student records; determines residency eligibility; enforces all retention and release policies regarding the confidentiality of student data Improves and maintains department performance regarding information processing through effective system management and staff development Reports on all matters pertaining to academic standards, academic petitions, student progress, and maintenance of enrollment eligibility Assists with developing strategic plan, evaluating outcomes and ensuring compliance with legal requirements Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management Provides auditors with appropriate documentation as requested May administer Registrar activities related to Return of Title lV funding May manage professional and/or clerical staff Performs related duties as assigned.
