Job Description
The Digital Growth Lead for Merchant supports the success of the digital channel in driving customer acquisition and retention of the U.S. Bank brand. This role will facilitate in owning the voice of the customer across all of merchant for SMB, ensuring that our ideal customer profile is embedded into product and marketing roadmaps for the right customer growth strategy.
They will help drive lead generation within the business and improve sales performance and efficiency by identifying areas of challenges and opportunity across the sales funnel. They will assist in leading the sales team who tackle the digital targets, go-to-market strategy and initiatives related to meeting our goals. They will collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to improve our digital flows, increase our lead numbers and build conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Execute strategic business plans for digital prospecting, recruitment and onboarding, and servicing of business banking customers.
Partner with the Marketing team to design and execute marketing initiatives that attract business banking prospects to U.S. Bank
Design the right go-to-market messages for our target customer segment and product suite
Align with Product, Operations, and Marketing to execute on growth strategies as well as help report on performance and identify areas of improvement
Partner with product leaders across U.S. bank to design and implement solutions/packages that optimize customer lifetime value for business banking customers
Optimize the experience for prospects and customers at every stage in the sales funnel and customer lifecycle
Help develop segment-specific strategies (e.g., healthcare, retail, services)
Assist in planning and coordinating of budgets in accordance with organization goals
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Two or more years of managerial experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Well – rounded business development experience with a focus on digital; financial industry preferred; global experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of the tools and methodologies of digital recruitment, acquisition, and retention of customers
Strong knowledge of industry and footprint in which we operate
Proven engagement skills using considerable tact, diplomacy, and people skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Self-starter capable of working independently
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high – pressure environment
Location: New York, NY or Atlanta, GA
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $144,160.00 - $169,600.00 - $186,560.00
