The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Clerk B will assist all aspects of research and educational efforts in the Division of Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery. This position reports to the Division Chief and the Director of Research Administration. Responsibilities Specific tasks include but are not limited to: Assist in literature reviews relevant to current and future research projects Assist in writing, editing, and/or submitting grant proposals to receive funding for new and ongoing research projects Assist in writing, editing, and/or submitting Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols for new and ongoing research projects Assist in screening, recruitment and enrollment of patients into studies Assist in data entry and cleaning Assist in writing, editing, and/or submitting abstracts for presentation at national and international meetings and conferences Assist in creating presentations and lectures for use at local, national and international forums Assist in writing, editing, and/or submitting manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals Provide administrative support as necessary Other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and one year related experience Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Columbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.
