JPMorgan Chase CIB - Research Operations Associate in New York, New York

The Research Operations Associate / Sr. Associate is a new role that will fill a crucial need in our growing DesignOps team. The person in this role will serve as an advocate for the research team, helping to prioritize, scope and manage the project workflow, including intake and priorities. The ResearchOps Associate will work in close partnership with the Head of Research to ensure that the team has visibility of the roadmap and book of work. ResearchOps allows researchers to spend more time researching, leading to better insights, improved product and service outcomes for our clients.


  • Producing and managing a Research Scoreboard - you have experience working with Researchers in-house or at agencies, tracking and maintaining metrics for UX research projects

  • Building and tracking the Research Portfolio including the research project type mix - you have successfully worked with design leaders to provide visibility across the research book of work, project and resource allocation

  • Creating and managing an Internal Participant Panel - you have implemented and managed research panels with internal or external participants, ensuring periodic engagement and availability for a range of research projects

  • Strengthening and managing Research Project Intake - you work closely with Design Program Managers and DesignOps peers to manage requests in a consistent manner

  • Managing and maintaining UX Research assets - you contribute or lead the curation of research assets in collaboration with the Head of Research and the team


  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Experience in end-to-end, digital products and services solutions, managing and meeting project milestones and deliveries on-time and on-budget

  • Experience in improving team collaboration and productivity through project management to change the way teams work

  • Experience partnering with research, design, product, development and leadership

  • Understanding of research processes as they align with product design and software development

  • Experience managing research projects or programs
