We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Benefits Analyst.
Position Summary:
The scope of work assignments crosses the full spectrum of benefit plans for the entities of the Health System. This includes multiple health and prescription plans, dental and vision plans, life and disability, insurance, statutory/governmental benefits, family care benefits, leave plans, retiree medical accounts, defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans, wellness offerings, and HR policies. In this role you will collaborate with the Benefits Strategy team and HR colleagues as well as vendors and consultants who support the benefit programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Research technical benefit plan or policy questions.
Support plan renewal and RFP processes by providing relevant plan, demographic and policy information to consultants and actuaries and answering follow up question to ensure accurate understanding of the data.
Review and cross edit plan content such as SPDs, web page content, vendor communications, and video scripts.
Facilitate and support annual plan compliance tasks.
Compile benchmarking data for organization surveys.
Collate and summarize metrics reporting to demonstrate employee awareness and engagement and effectiveness of communication strategy.
Assist in the preparation of informational reports and presentations.
Identifies, shares, and tracks information needed by HR Solutions Center and other One HR partners so they are knowledgeable in the delivery of service to employees.
Transform information into charts and graphs to capture complex information in a straightforward manner.
Assist with governmental questionnaires and audits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required.
1-2 years of Benefits related experience required.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Ability to meet hard deadlines; results oriented.
Proficiency in MS Office.
