Business Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Lead of Product Management, the Associate Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting Client Services on Ratings360®, the S&P Global Ratings Issuer Platform. They will focus on platform entitlement, client inquiries, trend analysis, and process & system improvements—all requiring close collaboration with external clients and internal stakeholders across Commercial, Analytical, Technology and Risk & Compliance. Joining a fast-paced Commercial Ratings team, the candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring a frictionless client experience on the platform, leading constructive and effective problem solving, and growing efficiencies in our operations.
Responsibilities:
Platform Entitlement Management:
Manage & process user access requests, ensuring accurate entitlement assignment across personas and functionality.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any entitlement issues.
Maintain up-to-date records of user entitlements and access controls.
Client Inquiries:
Act as second-level support for client inquiries related to entitlement/access, functionality, and troubleshooting—working closely with the first-level support team.
Provide timely and accurate information to clients, escalating issues to senior leadership and stakeholders as necessary.
Document and track client interactions to ensure a seamless client support experience.
Defect Monitoring:
Monitor and document product defects reported by clients and internal teams.
Assist in prioritizing and categorizing defects based on severity and impact.
Work closely with the Commercial Technology team to communicate defect trends and ensure timely resolution.
Trend Analysis:
Analyze client inquiries, defect reports and other data to identify trends and potential areas for product improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations on findings to share with senior leaders and product teams.
Suggest actionable insights based on data analysis to improve product quality and client satisfaction.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $49,400 to $98,200. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree; preferred deep understanding of the credit ratings business and debt capital markets
3+ years of experience in product management, client support, operations, or a related field
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using client support software, issue tracking tools, and data analysis tools
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior team members
Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
