QUEST is a full-time summer program that seeks to increase opportunities for historically under-resourced students who have yet to access a rigorous research environment and are committed to critically exploring topics in Communities of Color, including longstanding structural inequities and policy strategies toward positive social change, before applying to graduate degree programs in applied psychology and related fields. The Curriculum Coordinator role helps facilitate the program curriculum throughout before, during, and after the summer QUEST students. Duties: Coordinate/assign teaching modules to current faculty, students, and other N.Y.U. academic offices. Coordinating student social events Assist with the Brightpsace on-boarding of all curriculum materials Facilitate a 1-hour weekly check-in meeting with Q.U.E.S.T. students Meet with Q.U.E.S.T. participants individually to work on final projects and presentations for conferences Organizing and presiding over A.P. dept Quest presentation day Must be available May-August 2024, 20 hours per week, in person. The job duties for this position are highly local in nature and require onsite presence to be performed. In compliance with N.Y.C.'s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. B.A. in Psychology Relevant experience must include mentoring and managing programs. Possess excellent organizational skills to direct and motivate Q.U.E.S.T. students and coordinate multiple initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
