The Department of Economics at Columbia University invites applications for multiple positions to begin 7/1/2024. The search is open with respect to area of specialization. Appointments will be at the rank of tenure-track assistant professor. The responsibilities of the position include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and publication, and institutional service. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who will contribute to the diversity of the academic community and strongly encourages candidates from underrepresented backgrounds to apply. Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to engage in research and teaching at the undergraduate level and show promise for future development in research and teaching at the graduate level.
