Position Summary: The Division of Gynecologic Specialty Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons is expanding its faculty in Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically Urogynecology. We seek a full-time board-certified individual to participate in all the clinical and academic affairs of our dynamic Department. Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include developing a robust office-based gynecologic surgery consult service for women and integrate this program with the other Divisions in the Department. The candidate will develop a clinical, office-based practice and see outpatients as part of the Department's faculty practice. He or she will show strong commitment to clinical care, research, teaching of residents and medical students. He or she must be skilled in the surgical management of complex gynecologic conditions. Minimum Qualifications: · MD or equivalent · Completed fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology · Extensive experience in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Urogynecology, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Urinary, Incontinence, Overactive bladder, Defecatory dysfunction, Accidental bowel leakage, · Board certified · Eligibility for medical licensure and DEA in New York is required Columbia University is an Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Pay Transparency Disclosure The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
