The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified physician at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join our Westchester location. The ideal candidate is Sports Medicine trained and practices non-surgical musculoskeletal care, sports-related illness, and a variety of active patient approaches to medicine. The position carries a full-time faculty appointment at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and admitting privileges at one of Columbia's affiliated institutions. Candidates should be active members of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine or equivalent National Sports Medicine Society . The ideal candidate should have extensive ultrasound diagnosis and US-guided treatment (POCUS) experience. Sports Coverage throughout the metropolitan area is expected. This includes coverage at the High School and Collegiate levels within NYC, New Jersey, and Westchester. This is a full-time position and eligible for Columbia University?s officer benefits. M.D. D.O, or equivalent Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, Family Medicine, Podiatry, or Primary Care Eligible to practice in the State of New York and New Jersey Candidate must have Fellowship Training and/or experience in{Primary Care Sports Medicine (PMR/Physiatry candidates are not eligible for this position) A documented track record of successful collaboration in an Orthopedic Surgery department is preferred.
