The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Administrative Coordinator Grants and Payroll will report to the Director of Grants and Finance with a dotted line to the Manager of Human Resources and Payroll for tasks related to payroll/human resources. The incumbent will be part of the HPM Finance team, where they will assist the Director of Grants and Finance with pre-and post-award activities and managing the Department of Health Policy and Management?s grants portfolio, including faculty and staff effort reporting. Payroll-related responsibilities will include deadline-driven administrative transactions related to payroll and HR functions. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator will interact directly with faculty, staff, students, and visitors as necessary and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and use professional discretion with sensitive matters. Responsibilities Pre and Post award sponsored project and service agreement support, including but not limited to proposal submissions, budgets, monitoring and reconciliation of effort and spending. (47.5%) Assist with pre-hire and onboarding functions, collect and track documents for additional compensation, assist adjunct appointments, collect Visitor Registration documents, assist with maintaining department attendance records for time-tracking, assist with reconciling payroll data. (47.5%) Other duties as assigned. (5%) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, with a minimum of three years' work experience required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include five years of academic administrative or healthcare experience preferred. Must be organized, have strong time management, communication, and analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent writer, motivated, and a team player and self-starter. Must be proficient in common business software applications (Word, PowerPoint. Outlook) with advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables and formulas. Prior experience with sponsored projects/grant management, payroll and human resources, is desirable.
