HERC: Metro New York & Southern Connecticut 2 Postdoctoral Associates (CQIP) in New York, New York

Employer Name: New York University

This projects probes the physics of superconducting-semiconducting Josephson junctions and their relationship to topological superconductivity. This project takes a new path to create and manipulate topological excitations on a new 2D platform for MBS. The goal is to understand the proximity-induced superconductivity in a 2D electron gas (2DEG) with phase manipulation to eliminate the need for an external magnetic field and provide a more practical access to these states for future quantum circuits. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500-$65,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
