Pfizer US IBRANCE HCP Lead in New York City, New York

WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU

IBRANCE is the flagship brand within Oncology given the size and impact to patients. It is a mature brand that is approaching its 10th year anniversary in February of 2025 with an expected LOE date in 2027. IBRANCE has historically been the category leader since its launch in 2015 but due to a data deficit and challenging competitive headwinds, the brand has invested tremendous work to modify strategies and continues to leverage brand strengths. While market leadership has been declining, it still maintains 50% of TRx volume within the mBC indications. The focus in 2024 has been to find opportunities to regain new patient starts, extend duration of therapy for appropriate patients and maintain our market share through patient type selling.

The strategic priorities this year are to confidently convey the clinical value of IBRANCE through new RWE & subgroup data, regain perceptions of attributes that are considered the brand's strengths, and ensure optimal execution of personal and nonpersonal promotion. Measuring leading & lagging KPIs is incredibly important for the team to ensure our strategies are meeting the brand imperatives.

This HCP Lead is a key opportunity for a talented marketing colleague who likes to solve complex business challenges in a competitive marketplace. This colleague will lead critical commercial initiatives to defend the market leadership of IBRANCE and find opportunities to grow. This individual must be able to excel in an incredibly fast-paced environment, make immediate business impact, think outside the box, and will actively contribute to the positive team culture.

This role requires strong strategic and analytical thinking, clear and concise communication skills, lateral leadership, proficient project management skills, creativity, and a proven track record of success working on a large matrix team and working in ambiguity at times. This role will have significant involvement with the broader US Commercial team, Legal, Medical, Regulatory, Sales, Global, Operations and various other internal stakeholders.

IBRANCE is a large dynamic team with lots of opportunity, so roles and responsibilities may shift due to business needs and the interests of the individual over time.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and refine HCP strategize to maximize opportunities

  • Optimize the brand narrative by leveraging new RWE, subgroup data, etc.

  • Identify and lead market research projects

  • Lead the evolution of an updated iDetail and Product Theater Deck

  • Work closely with Medical to assess new data for Commercial promotion

  • Lead relevant BURC decks and discussion to assess risk

  • Collaborate with other BC colleagues to find efficiencies and commonalities across the portfolio within the US and Global

  • Work with cross-functional partners to develop an LOE strategy

  • Mentor other HCP team members, MRP would directly report to this role

  • Serve as point person for our AoR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, including 5 years of Oncology experience, breast cancer strongly preferred.

  • Drives brand strategy and interactions, leveraging customer insights along the journey

  • Ability to quickly identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights

  • Has deep analytics fluency, continuously monitors insights, and has a test-and-learn, iterative mindset

  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability topartner and collaborate with experts from a wide range of cross-functional areas

  • Strong project management skills, including ability to work independently, lead multiple projects simultaneously and manage against a work plan

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate leadership among peers and internal stakeholders

  • Strong influence skills

  • BA/BS - degree required; MBA/Masters preferred

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Travel expected 10-20% of time for Sales Meetings, Congresses, field rides, etc.

Work Location Assignment:Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
