Pfizer Tafamidis Hereditary Lead, US Marketing Director in New York City, New York
VYNDAMAX received early FDA approval in 2019 for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) to reduce cardiovascular-related mortality and hospitalizations. There are two types of ATTR-CM: wild type (wt), and hereditary (h). hATTR-CM has clinical and demographic features that make it distinct from wtATTR-CM and creates different patient journey dynamics.
The Tafamidis Hereditary Lead is a mission-critical US Marketing Director role responsible for leading the development and implementation of the tafamidis hATTR-CM strategy. This will include understanding differences in the hATTR-CM patient journey vs the wtATTR journey, characterizing key leverage points that are unique to the hereditary population, and identifying (and then executing) tactics unique to hATTR-CM to improve diagnosis and tafamidis utilization following FDA approval. This would include both disease education and branded efforts.
