Pfizer Sr. Manager in New York City, New York

ROLE SUMMARY

As a team member, and in partnership with Pfizer's Global Business Services (GBS) organization, you will manage end-to-end delivery of solutions and ongoing support for existing platforms and systems designed to manage Acquisitions, Collaborations, and Divestitures (ACD). This role is expected to guide Agile development and DevOps framework projects managed within the Digital Colleague Enablement & Seagen Integration (DESCI) space.

In this role, we are looking for a dynamic colleague that has strong project management skills, is technically skilled, collaborative and has a passion for using Digital technology to solve problems. The selected candidate will develop innovative and pragmatic technical solutions for the enterprise while providing the best user experience. The role will collaborate across the Digital organization to effectively implement forward thinking solutions and manage the planning and execution of ACD events. This role requires strong collaboration in a matrixed environment, across a team of other Digital teams and business subject matter experts. It also requires the ability to work independently with a focus on high quality deliverables, a strong sense of accountability to senior leaders across the organization. This role will require the ability to adapt to change, apply principles to past experiences, and desire to work in an environment which requires quickly adapting as requirements and priorities evolve.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct interface to central Digital ACD team, representing DESCI as the key point of contact for enabling function solutions

  • Work with teams to develop budget estimates and project timelines based on event requirements

  • Build budgets for acquisitions, collaborations, and divestitures in due diligence

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, and statements of work for in-flight projects

  • Define and communicate as-is and to-be business processes

  • Manage the translation of business requirements into detailed functional requirements

  • Manage TSA and exits for divestitures

  • Lead deployment of technical solutions, including leading onshore and offshore, contractor-based development teams

  • Ensure delivery of solutions are on-time, on-budget, and inclusive of the scope committed to the business

  • Balance working across numerous, concurrent events

  • Manage project timelines, cadences and risk mitigation plans including escalations to global program office when appropriate

  • Manage the close out summary and lessons learned for each event

  • Work in ambiguous situations as part of a project team tied to ACD events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, or an affiliated field.

  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing custom and SaaS solutions

  • Experience managing Acquisition, Collaboration, and Divestiture events within an Enterprise Application landscape

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic problem-solving environment.

  • Innovative mindset with strong delivery-oriented values.

  • Working experience with an Agile development methodology.

  • Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems.

  • Ability to make sound decisions to resolve complex issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Workday functional experience or integrations experience

  • Experience with Jira

  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions

  • Hands on Service Delivery and Operations experience

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Digital ACD is a 24x7x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours

  • Domestic and International travel up to 20%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.   • The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00.
