Pfizer CIBINQO Marketing Lead in New York City, New York

ROLE SUMMARY

CIBINQO, one of Pfizer's 25 by 25 launches, is an oral JAK inhibitor for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The CIBINQO marketing lead role is an exciting opportunity to join the Pfizer Dermatology franchise within the Inflammation and Immunology (I&I) division, where colleagues strive to deliver breakthroughs that enable freedom from day-to-day suffering for people living with chronic inflammatory diseases. Pfizer Dermatology has an industry leading pipeline and is poised for continued growth and success. The Dermatology team is responsible for two of our 25 by 2025 launches, Ritlecitinib (LITFULO), which was approved in the US in June 2023, and Abrocitinib (CIBINQO), which was approved in the US in mid-January 2022.

The CIBINQO marketing lead will report to the US Dermatology Franchise Marketing Vice President and will play a critical role in leading the US CIBINQO marketing team, owning all aspects of the CIBINQO brand, setting strategy to maximize brand performance and patient impact, while ensuring that all team members achieve their career development objectives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business performance, leading through complexity, and creating a winning culture, where all colleagues are heard, valued, and respected.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the US CIBINQO marketing team to develop brand strategy and executional plans (HCP, Consumers, Payers, MG/IDNs, KOLs, Policy Makers) environment shaping, product distribution and payment models, and customer support models (across all customers).

  • Ensure exceptional customers experiences across all stages of the patient, HCP, and payer pathways.

  • Own brand revenue forecast, brand operating expenses, and associated financial responsibilities (e.g., COGS, channel mix, etc.). Ensure rigorous forecasting and alignment with Global Commercial and Finance teams.

  • Represent all elements of brand planning, strategy, and brand performance to Specialty Care Leadership

  • Work with marketing, analytics, and sales colleagues to assess and understand performance trends and identify opportunities for course correction, as needed

  • Monitor competitive landscape and develop communications and action plans as needed

  • Build and foster exceptional partnerships with Global Commercial and Cross Functional teams to ensure highest level of performance and culture.

  • Design team structure, as well as roles and responsibilities, to ensure achievement of financial targets. In addition, define cross functional needs including Medical, Legal Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, Comms, and PHI.

  • Manage advertising and other agencies to product communications that impact brand performance

  • Conduct all activities and make decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & global regulatory guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree qualification BS/BA required, MBA preferred

  • 15+ years commercial marketing experience, to include US market experience, is required; 13 years with an MBA

  • Previous experience leading brands with deep knowledge of marketing discipline and track record of launching and building successful brands in US market; US Derm experience preferred

  • Experience managing teams with demonstrated capabilities in setting team aspirations and vision, creating and fostering high-performing teams, and developing direct reports to achieve their full potential

  • Track record of successfully operating and achieving results in a matrix environment, influencing stakeholders and leading change

  • Ideally previous P&L management responsibility, with a track record of high performance

  • Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization

  • Financial acumen with the ability to sharply manage expenses, conduct ROI analyses and make financial trade-offs

  • Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and managing major strategic challenges, defining and realizing incremental growth strategies and balancing short-term needs and long-term vision

  • Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management

  • Experience building relationships with external stakeholders to support customer and business needs

  • A commitment to excellence - both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $205,400.00 to $342,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
