  1. Plans, directs, manages, and executes a variety of complex strategic projects for the president for strategic initiatives in support of president's office initiatives and as well as university-wide priorities. 2. Maintains a high level of knowledge of president's office initiatives and serves as a content resource to colleagues in offices across campus, including Provost, Development, Office of General Counsel, OPAC, and others. 3. Participates with the President and other senior officers in strategic planning and problem resolution; ensures matters requiring the attention of executive leaders are thoroughly developed, researched and evaluated. 4. Manages high-priority projects and programs designed to support institutional goals and achieve the University's mission and strategic vision across multiple units; ensures that constituent representatives are kept appropriately informed of project activities and are encouraged to participate as appropriate. 5. Monitors and evaluates progress toward goals and objectives of the Office of the President, identifies areas of weakness, and makes suggestions for improvements. 6. Anticipates, identifies and troubleshoots issues of concern or significance; exercises discretion to provide timely information and necessary updates across multiple stakeholders; responds to inquiries as delegated. 7. Conducts research on a wide range of subjects as well as special projects and programs initiated by the President. 8. Communicates key points as needed when representing the Office of the President on projects and in meetings and keeps the leadership team informed. 9. Identifies and analyzes new opportunities that align with institutional priorities and objectives. 10. Responds on behalf of the President to inquiries from, and/or issues involving, students, employees, and members of the public. 11. Develops and delivers complex presentation materials for use by the President and other senior leaders. 12. On an as needed basis, serves as a key liaison or designee for the Office of the President with campus leaders, staff, faculty, and students on strategic and operational matters pertaining to specific areas of institutional interest. 13. May oversee the direct or indirect supervision of assigned personnel within the Office of the President. 14. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skill/ability 1: The ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and constituencies and communicate both orally and in writing. Required Skill/ability 2: The ability to engage in strategic planning, develop comprehensive business plans, and engage with colleagues to drive those plans to execution. Required Skill/ability 3: The ability to make administrative and procedural decisions, analyze problems, and formulate solutions. Required Skill/ability 4: The ability to perform complex tasks, prioritize multiple projects, and manage various tasks efficiently. Required Skill/ability 5: The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with independent judgment and maintain strict confidentiality. Preferred Education: Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in higher education, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills. Demonstrated ability in writing, communication, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members.
