1. Plans, coordinates and implements individual, group, and couples' therapy for students in University outpatient clinic. Provides family meetings as appropriate. 2. Conducts patient evaluations and assesses patients' acceptability for psychotherapy programs and develops initial disposition planning. 3. Establishes positive relationships with patients in order to administer the appropriate treatment. 4. Maintains patients' charts and reports. 5. Participates in mental health 24-hour emergency coverage. 6. Provides educational and consultation services to undergraduate residential colleges and professional schools. 7. Provides mental health outreach to Yale community. 8. Develops materials for educational programs and seminars for professional staff. 9. Interacts with internal contacts such as patients, patients' families, clinicians, medical staff, and administrators regarding treatment of individual patients and implementation of clinical programs. 10. Assesses and evaluates the purpose and value of psychological testing and treatment and recommends changes to treatment plans. 12. Analyzes data and psychological testing results. 13. Required Skill/ability 3: Proven ability to design and implement workshops and outreach services designed to provide mental health education to students. Required Skill/ability 4: Demonstrated ability providing treatment for a culturally diverse student population. Required Skill/ability 5: Proven knowledge of Yale College residential college system.
