1. The clinical nurse uses the nursing process to deliver high quality comprehensive and individualized care to members of Yale Health.2. Collaborates with members of the multidisciplinary team to support the work of the team, unit activities, and the accomplishment of positive patient outcomes.3. Computer proficiency as it relates to the use of an EMR, Outlook email, and other computerized databases. Required Skill/ability 2: At least 2 years in a medical/surgical setting, critical care setting, preferably in a hospital or outpatient/ambulatory facility. Required Skill/ability 3: Competent clinical triage skills and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. Current CPR. Required Skill/ability 4: Evidence of maintenance of professional skill and competency, attendance at educational programs such as seminars and workshops that are appropriate to the field. Required Skill/ability 5: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability. Preferred Education: Demonstrated experience in an in-patient hospital unit in relevant specialty. Experience in Immunizations administration as well as administration of medications. Active membership in professional organizations.
