  1. Researches and collects data through site or home visit intakes; library research; structured interviews; or through other means for designated research assignments. 2. Records and compiles information related to research data. Codes data accordingly to research specifications. Uses a computer terminal to input and retrieve data and to generate reports. 3. Processes and summarizes data using scientific or statistical techniques. Assists in data interpretation and analyses. Reports on status of research activities. 4. Recruits study participants and ensures that subject recruitment and follow-up are completed per protocol procedures. 5. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies. May assist in designing, developing, and modifying research experiments, procedures, or survey instruments. May assist research and support staff. 6. Performs additional functions incidental to research activities. Required Skill/ability 1: Ability to work independently, with reliability as well as ability to work closely in a collaborative team. Ability to receive constructive feedback. Required Skill/ability 2: Interest in and aptitude for working with psychiatric patients, particularly OCD, and understanding of psychiatric research protocols. Proven research experience with study protocols, principles, and procedures. Ability to recruit subjects and perform psychiatric evaluations using SCID diagnostic exam (Structured Clinical Interview). Required Skill/ability 3: Ability to collect and enter scientific data ethically and accurately. Ability to use REDCap and Qualtrics. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to set-up and organize studies, enter data into database, create data reports, graphics, and slides. Required Skill/ability 4: Capability to work in a fast-paced work environment, multi-task, and exercise flexibility. Required Skill/ability 5: Ability to maintain research equipment and space such as source documents, cognitive. computers and tools. Strong skills with communication, organization, and attention to detail Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience recruiting subjects and performing psychiatric evaluations using SCID diagnostic exam (Structured Clinical Interview). Experience using REDCap and Qualtrics and performing data analysis. Six (6) years of related and demonstrated work experience, four (4) of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related and demonstrated work experience and an Associate's degree; or little or no demonstrated work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated experience and education.
