Job Overview: This position provides project coordination and support for multiple ongoing projects / programs for the Marketing and Community Relations Division in the area of internal communications and visual communications. The person in this position will support on-going internal communication as well as marketing collateral for existing programming, activities, operations, and branding activities. Essential Functions: Ownership of internal communication initiatives, ensuring consistency of messaging and presentation of the Albertus Magnus College brand. Coordinate with internal content contributors on strategy, aesthetics, content placement, and simple technical problems. Coordinate all Albertus Announcement requests, ensuring the accuracy of the content and proper use of language, grammar, and spelling. Decide on the best media/format for announcements, which may take the form of regular email digests to selected groups, digital sign postings, calendar entries, and/or postings to the College Portal. Manage the flow and timing of Albertu's Announcement requests based on best practices and internal priorities. Content updates as needed to the College Portal, my.albertus. Partner with internal stakeholders and team members on communication initiatives. Provide design, photography, and other creative services to the Marketing and Community Relations Division as needed. Other duties / projects as assigned. Qualifications: 1-3 years experience in a similar support and coordinator position. Education: Bachelors Degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires a demonstrated working knowledge of internal communication tools. Excellent organizational communication skills, a keen orientation to detail and deadlines, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proofreading and editing capabilities. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability and desire to acquire new knowledge and skills independently. Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team. Work Schedule Requirements : Desk work in an office environment, Evenings, and weekends for special events will be required. Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-time employees can earn between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees). The college is committed to work-life balance and has a summer schedule from June through August. We currently have 14 paid holidays, including a winter break.
