Job Overview: This full-time, 12-month position involves recruiting prospective students, reviewing applications, interviewing students, and providing hospitality to students and their families. The position will require extensive recruitment and travel in a designated geographical territory. This candidate will participate in recruitment events on and off campus and work on related projects. This individual will oversee the Admissions Ambassador Program (the College's student tour guides) and will assist with planning Admission-related events. The candidate will achieve assigned individual and team goals. The candidate must possess a valid driver's license. This position requires occasional weekend and evening work, and extensive travel. In the absence of the Director, this position oversees the day-to-day activities of the Office of Admissions. This individual also assists the Director in long-term planning/projects. Essential Functions: Recruitment and Outreach: Proactively recruit and assist prospective high school students (via e-mail, phone, virtual information sessions, walk-ins, scheduled appointments, and/or recruiting events) by following up on inquiries, and provide counseling. Execute office-wide recruitment efforts to assigned geographic territories. Represent the institution at college fairs, community-based organizations, and high schools; communicate with prospective students, parents, and high school/community college counselors. Participate in visitor experience by conducting information sessions and on-the-spot appointments. Application Management: Read and evaluate admissions applications for geographic territories. Assist in holistic application review; assist in follow-up for application completion. Coordinate group and individual tours. Collaborate with Enrollment Operations regarding Slate management. Assist the Associate Director and Director of Admissions with the planning of recruitment-related events. Vendor relations: Work with vendors to purchase collateral materials. Supervisory Duties: Oversee and manage the Student Ambassador program and the Office of Admissions Graduate Assistant. Other Duties as Assigned Collaborate in the coordination of yield programs. Qualifications: Ability to drive a car with a valid drivers license. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize, work well under pressure, multitask, pay attention to detail, and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products. Availability to travel freely domestically. Education: A Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of Slate (Customer Relationship Management system). 3 years of experience in higher education, admissions, and recruitment preferred Event planning and management experience. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Excellent verbal and written communication and well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Adaptability in a fast-paced office. Special Work Schedule Requirements: Regular Business Hours - M-F 8:30-4:30 Evening and Weekend work is required as determined by the Director of Admissions. Work Schedule Requirements : Hybrid Availability: Yes *Position title and salary based on experience Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-Time employees can earn between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees).
