  1. Plans, oversees, and coordinates administrative activities for project. Contributes to project plans as well as to the development of project timeline. Research and recommend resources or services. 2. Working as member of the project team, performs assigned tasks and completes deliverables in timely manner. 3. Oversees day to day financial activity. Based on knowledge and understanding of goals and budgetary parameters, obtains cost estimates, recommends expenditures and reprioritizes funds as necessary. 4. Works with a variety of project management and spreadsheet applications to create and maintain project timeline and track resource allocation, performance metrics and other project related information. Serve as expert resource on above applications for project staff. 5. Writes original or significantly edits substantive program materials. Develops and produces or oversees the preparation of a variety of communications materials in various media. Contributes to the formulation of communications plans. 6. Communicates with project team as necessary to monitor and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Serves as principal source of information to project team and impacted students, staff, and faculty on project activities. 7. Oversees, instructs, and coordinates activities of support staff. 8. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Skill/ability 1: Self-directed and critical thinker, able to take initiative, anticipate actions needed, exercise sound independent judgment, make decisions, improve procedures as needed, and be a team player. Outstanding ability to handle a wide range of intellectual and practical problems and deal with complex terminology and conceptual frameworks. Excellent attendance and reliability. Required Skill/ability 2: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines. Ability to adapt well to change or changing circumstances, and eagerness to learn new skills as needed. Superior organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated office management and administrative support skills. Required Skill/ability 3: Experience conducting research in art history or related humanities subject. Cover letter strongly preferred. Required Skill/ability 4: Proficiency or demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and work competently with specialized software, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, TMS (The Museum System), EMS (Event Management System), WorkDay. Required Skill/ability 5: Highly developed oral and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and promptly with a wide range of constituencies. Able to address diplomatically complex inquiries, requests, or situations regarding University and outside stakeholders. Ability to speak and lead discussions at departmental, cross-departmental, and other meetings. Preferred Education: Experience working in a university museum and/or as a classroom/program scheduler with prior teaching, museum, and art history experience. Demonstrated interest in the arts and museum-based teaching.
