Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Clinical Nutrition Manager (Registered Dietitian) for Sitrin Health Care Center, located in New Hartford, New York. This position will oversee a fulltime RD and fulltime diet tech in a 160-bed community. The CNM will manage a clinical caseload and assist with quality assurance audits and menu planning. This is a great opportunity for an experienced dietitian who wants to learn and grow with Sodexo.

The successful candidate will:

• oversee a fulltime RD and fulltime dietetic technician;

• provide nutritional care to the residents in skilled nursing, adult day center and neuro units as needed;

• conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds;

• meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;

• be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences;

• represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or

• support the food service operation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
