Job Description

Job Summary

Develops and implements complex business analysis plans and assumptions including completeness, applicability,

and timeliness of business plans. Ensures business issues are brought to closure within the scope of the assignment.

Collaborates with Sales, Supply Chain, Product Groups, and India Distributors to modify or tailor existing demand forecasts by

ensuring key assumptions such as EOL plans, promotion activities, and new product launches are reflected.

Participate in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and

recommending a course of action. The role also requires publishing demand forecast for these markets on a monthly basis

while providing analysis on risks and opportunities to internal stakeholders.

In addition to the planning responsibilities, the role is also responsible for distribution operations mainly around local product compliance work.

Key Job Responsibilities

Customer Planning

  • Analyze and optimize demand forecast. Understand the source of demand as having alignment with sales, product

and marketing organization and initiatives.

  • Manage the customer demand planning for assigned product portfolio and markets. Conduct IBP process aligned with global framework.

  • Develop demand forecast aligned to short term sales results and middle term company’s growth, as understanding

appropriate product portfolio, category, market analysis.

Supply Planning

  • Analyze and optimize supply. Execute stable and efficient product supply through analyzing sales performance and

demand forecast. Work closely with sales, product and marketing teams on new product introduction process.

  • Analyze and minimize excess / IOS inventory thorough cooperation and relationship with finance and sales functions.

Distribution Operation

  • Help in obtaining mandatory product certificates such as BIS/ETA.

  • Arrange proper certificate markings / MRP labeling on products to meet local compliance requirements.

  • Details of local compliance work include:

  • Maintain a comprehensive tracker for ongoing and upcoming BIS and ETA certifications (including renewals) in collaboration with local consultants.

  • Ensure timely submission of new applications and proactive engagement with stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates to Indian stakeholders on application statuses, associated risks, and renewal schedules.

  • Assist local consultants with necessary documentation, signature procurement from Bose, and repository management.

  • Support warehouse team during NPI by addressing BIS labeling queries and ensuring compliance to prevent shipment of products without proper labels.

  • Coordinate international shipments between DCs as well as resolve issues of customs clearance for India distributors

  • Help audit closure for old cases in India, working closely with finance team in arranging old documents/information which is required by the India authorities.

KPIs :

Forecast Attainment / Accuracy, Days Inventory On hand, Excess / IOS Inventory and Customer fill rate.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Data oriented, analytical and logical thinking

  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem solving skills

  • Willing to acquire new knowledge and gain skill sets

  • SAP / SCM / BI reporting knowledge and IT literacy with advanced MS office skills

  • Experience in Kinaxis Rapid Response is preferred

Education and Experience requirements

  • University / College graduated

  • 5 year’s business especially in the area of Supply Chain Planning experience

  • Business level English, fluency in written and spoken

Experience in project management, sales and / or marketing preferred
