First National Bank of Omaha Sr. Analyst, Workday (HRIS) (Remote Position anywhere in the US) in Nebraska

This role is responsible for subject matter expertise related to HRIS and the Workday system including data and reporting. This role works independently to help design, lead, and implement HR technology solutions across functions.

This position will work remote anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate and consult cross-functionally across teams to break down barriers and achieve team goals; takes on the role of the expert or leader when necessary.

  • Works collaboratively with all team members to integrate individual perspectives; provides encouragement and acknowledgement of others’ contributions and inputs.

Acts as a project management resource for both direct team as well as the HR function to lead projects

  • May include release projects and changes that affect multiple departments, new/enhanced implementations

  • Collaborate with information technology or other enterprise or consulting resources.

Provide HR systems maintenance and support to maintain system health .

  • Deliver end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

  • Work to continuously refine processes, workflows, and system flows based on need.

  • Provide education and ongoing support for Workday HR Users to proactively ensure full utilization of the technology including ongoing updates/enhancements

Proactively research new functionality and enhancements to identify those that would be beneficial to implement.

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and refine business requirements by utilizing project management skills to develop solutions based on needs.

  • Continually increase personal knowledge and maintain individual development through training and research by embracing an independent learning approach. Position self as a technical expert in area of expertise (i.e. Talent/Benefits/Security) with in-depth and practical knowledge of partnership area.

  • Act as a project lead when implementing major enhancement, change, or new functionality.

Lead the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and lead all aspects of system testing either as part of the functional team or as testing lead.

  • Review and analyze system release notes, identify testing scripts needed, execute testing and document results.

  • Act as a testing lead for own functional area, lead testing project plan when required

Lead and/or participate in other projects specific to Total Rewards or HRIS, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, and Physical Qualifications (if Required by Work of Role)

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; data management, business management, human resources, or related field preferred

  • 2-3 years of Workday experience is REQUIRED

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication with ability to work with various levels of management
