Position Summary

The Senior Network Engineer will operate at the enterprise level responsible for executing a wholistic strategy and tactical plan of implementation, as well as operationalizing investments which ultimately result in a resilient network architecture that is scalable to meet the growing business needs as well as lowered mean time to repair and time between incidents. The Senior Network Engineer will act as the technical leader who ensures that requirements (both business and technical) and use cases are collected with requirements defined to meet expectations in the most efficient and economical way possible. The right candidate will establish testing strategy, standards and/or objectives in alignment with company enterprise IT objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with enterprise network engineering implementation and design

  • 3+ years experience deploying various tool sets which support monitoring and alerting across diverse platforms

  • 2+ years experience leading diverse project teams

  • 2+ years experience with advanced network engineering solutions utilizing various product platforms such as Cisco, F5, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, zScaler, NetBrain and NetScout

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing connectivity to public cloud services providers specifically AWS, Azure and GCP

  • Previous work with vendor management

  • Advanced Cisco and/or Palo Alto training and certifications a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
